When people and wildlife come into conflict, wildlife usually suffers. But people also lose--especially when the toll on species and the unsustainable use of resources end up impoverishing the ecosystems on which people depend. From the foothills of the Himalayas to the savannas of Africa and the coral reefs of the Pacific, one of World Wildlife Fund's central missions is to help resolve such conflicts and avoid new ones through creative solutions that serve the needs of both people and wildlife.
