Wildlife Trade in Medicinals in East and Southern Africa and Madagascar
Working for sustainable levels and practices
of trade in wildlife medicinals.
The Wildlife Trade in Medicinals project studied wildlife medicinal trade
within the region and with outside markets to promote sustainable levels
of trade. Implementors of this project were TRAFFIC USA and TRAFFIC
East/Southern Africa. Countries participating in the study included Botswana,
Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia,
Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
