Justification of Ecoregion Delineation
This ecoregion consists of sparse forest tundra off the western coast of the Bering Sea. Mapped ecoregion boundaries correspond to the montane and forest tundra zones of the Bering province in Kurnaev’s (1990) forest map of the USSR.
