SeaWorld/Busch Gardens
In 2010 WWF was one of four charities selected to participate in the SeaWorld Cares ticket promotion to fund WWF’s conservation efforts in the Arctic, where we are working to combat climate change and protect polar bears and other Arctic species. From April through December 2010, U.S. residents who purchased a single-day, full-price adult ticket online for any of the three SeaWorld parks could buy a discounted child ticket for $5 and have that amount donated to WWF. SeaWorld promoted the campaign through a press release, emails and on their website. Over 45,000 purchases were made in support of WWF, resulting in a donation of more than $200,000.
