Nature needs us now
Nature doesn’t just surround us—it sustains us. Every day, it protects and provides for us.

It’s the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food on our plates. It’s the medicine that heals us, the rubber in our tires, and the electricity that lights our homes. It’s the quiet peace of the forest and the rush of a river adventure.
Nature gives us life and makes our lives more fulfilling. We know the health and happiness of humans is deeply intertwined with the health of the planet. And that when we help nature, we help ourselves too.
Our relationship to nature matters. Because when people understand their connection to nature, they want to protect it. And nature needs us now.

A poem: We are nature, nature is us
Nature is the foundation of everything we value, but the natural systems that support all life on Earth are under unprecedented threat. This is our moment to give back to the resource that gives us everything.
WWF helps protect the planet's most critical forests, rivers, wetlands, and oceans. We do so by working with communities, governments, and businesses to create practical solutions that keep our planet in balance. Together, we can protect nature now and into the future.
